29 percent of people in B.C. have at least one disability. Everyone benefits when employment is inclusive and when all people have access to opportunities. The Accessible BC Act (the Act) was introduced to support the identification, removal, and prevention of barriers. The Employment Accessibility Standard and Accessible Service Delivery Standard are the first standards to be developed under the Act.
