Rajpal Kohli
Rajpal Kohli is an employment equity and diversity professional with a broad and extensive range of experience, knowledge and skills in human rights; diversity & inclusion, harassment prevention, and organizational development. In her role, she assists with the oversight of City of Vancouver’s policies on Human Rights & Harassment and Respectful Workplaces. She is responsible for appropriate interventions and resolution of workplace harassment issues, training and education on workplace harassment, human rights, Building Respectful Workplaces to all levels of management and staff. Her work includes diversity and inclusion initiatives such as the coordination of Mentorship Program for new Canadians in partnership with Immigrant Employment Council of BC, cultural competency training for City staff, and partnerships for Indigenous employment and engagement.Rajpal has a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Organizational Behavior and Industrial Psychology, a B.A. in English Honors, and a management certificate in Human Resource Management from BCIT. Prior to working with the City of Vancouver, Rajpal worked with Legal Services Society of BC and in the immigrant settlement field.
