Meet your presenter(s)

Dr. Maude Bouchard

Maude has been developing expertise in the field of sleep for over 15 years. She is particularly interested in the role of sleep in the health and performance of individuals. Her interests for knowledge transfer brough her to give hundreds of talks and interviews on the topic of sleep in national and international conferences and to different groups of employees, Olympic athletes, and administrators. Maude holds a PhD in clinical neuropsychology from Université de Montréal, where she worked under the supervision of renown international sleep researcher Julie Carrier. During her studies, she was the recipient of several research and excellence scholarships, including a prestigious Vanier Banting leadership award, the highest research honor for Canadians pursuing a doctorate. Passionate about teaching, she has been an adjunct assistant professor at the City College of New York and is a lecturer at Université de Montreal and Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. Maude is currently the director of research and development at HALEO.

Rod Ezekiel

Rod Ezekiel has 12 years of experience in corporate wellbeing. Prior to joining HALEO, he held the position of Director of Business Development in Western Canada with a focus on Mental Health for TELUS Health for 11 years. Rod is a Mental and Physical Health Advocate for 25 years. He is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist with Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) and also holds a certificate on Work’s Mental Health at Queen's University. Rod has worked all his life in mental health circles. He teaches Preventative Nutrition at CSNN and is a Mindfulness Certified – Mindful Leader.
