Ashish Anand

Founder/CEO

Ashish Anand is a SaaS entrepreneur and CEO of Workforce Wellness, who is at the forefront of innovation in AI and the future of work. Ashish is a distinguished technology leader with over two decades of experience in building SaaS solutions for numerous high growth startups and enterprises. Workforce Wellness: Ashish spearheads Workforce Wellness, an AI-enabled Predictive ERM (Employee Relationship Management) Platform. Since it's founding in 2020, the company has made substantial strides, partnering with industry giants like Sony Pictures, NBC Universal and many others to redefine the landscape of employee management. Workforce Wellness has pioneered multiple firsts, including a full hybrid governance solution, a burnout detection and management system, a personalized employee benefits marketplace amongst others.

Tanya Ponnan, CPHR

Tanya Ponnan (she/her) is a CPHR professional with over 20 years of HR experience, coupled with NGO international development, and post-secondary educational work locally and internationally. As a coach, mentor, change management, intercultural development inventory assessor, and emotional intelligence practitioner, Tanya utilizes her HR experience to assist organizations, educational institutions, and civic communities to implement diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) strategies towards engaging our ever-growing workplaces. Tanya holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Arts, Global Leadership from Royal Roads University with her research focused on inclusion programs. Her research was shared at the International Leadership Association’s virtual DEI summit in 2021. She is an active board member with the Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC), BC Division, Justice Institute of BC (JIBC) Foundation and LaSalle College Vancouver. In her free time, she has taken up pottery by creating her own plates and bowls.

Sean Froese

Data and Analytics, Humi

Sean Froese is a seasoned data and analytics leader with extensive experience in transforming complex data into actionable insights to drive business outcomes. Currently serving as the Director of Data and Analytics at Humi, Sean oversees data strategies, implements governance frameworks, and champions data quality initiatives. With previous roles including Director of Media Analytics at GALE and VP of Analytics at No Fixed Address Inc., Sean has led teams to deliver sophisticated measurement frameworks and advanced analytics solutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Physiology from the University of Toronto and is a published researcher in the field of pancreatic beta cells.

Peter Scott

Founder, Next Wave Institute

Peter Scott is a futurist, coach, and technology expert helping people master technological disruption. After receiving a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Cambridge University, he moved to California to work for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and has continued to do that ever since. Peter raises awareness about artificial intelligence. He has appeared on radio and television, given university courses and numerous appearances in several countries. In February 2020 he spoke to Britain’s House of Lords on the future of AI, and delivered a TEDx talk to a thousand people in British Columbia, Canada. His third TEDx talk, on why AI might need to have empathy, was recorded in January 2023. His weekly podcast, “Artificial Intelligence and You” tackles three questions: What is AI? Why will it affect you? How do you and your business survive and thrive through the AI Revolution? In July 2022, his book also called “Artificial Intelligence and You” was released. His Next Wave Institute coaches executives how to futureproof their careers and businesses. He lives on Vancouver Island and is a skydiver and certified scuba diver.
